An Ice dragon, gets sent from the Dragon Council gets sent to a group of adventurers to travel with them. Kolt, the Kobold with a slight speech pattern is suspicious of Iceberg's presence.
I start talking to myself. "It's Alright, Iceberg. It can't be that hard, just tell them my name and job as a mage."
I walk inside the Flare Dragon Tavern. I relook the paper over making sure I got the right time and place.
"This is the place. Now, where's the group?" I talk to myself again.
I spot a table with five people sitting down. They look like adventurers or mercenaries of some sort. "Ah, there they are." I walk up to the group.
"Um... hello... you're Kolt right?" I ask.
"Yes I am. Vhat can I help you vith?" Kolt asks, it seems every w is replaced by a v... Interesting.
"I'm Iceberg, the dragon council has sent me to join up with your group, sir." I say, bowing for respect.
"Vhat, the dragon council sending one of them to join among others? That usually means something is going on." Kolt says, suspicious of me.
"I don't know much of anything going on out here." I say.
"Yeah, dragons are pretty strict vhen it comes to freedom." Kolt responds. "Vhat kind of mage are you, Iceberg?"
"An ice mage, mostly. I can use ice and water magic really well, while I'm somewhat Alright at all other kinds."
"Alright, and you're a vorking vorking kind of guy." Kolt says, making a rhyming scheme.
I take a seat near Kolt.
"So, I understand that your current mission is to guard a merchant around a volcano?" I ask.
"Yeah, that's right." Kolt says.
"We're taking a short cut, and going straight through the volcano."
Kolt's body starts shaking. "Hov... Hov do you know this?"
"The fire tribe told the council, about it, then the information was relayed to me." I say, nervous of his expression.
"Ah, so it's true. I must say, Iceberg, this makes things much more interesting." Kolt says with a smile.
"Well I do know of a secret tunnel, that goes straight through the volcano. It's the safest route right now." I say, pulling out a map.
"Oh, I like your approach to things."
"I just like to be prepared, sir." I say, rather curious where everyone else is.
"Vell, we're going to rest here and set out tomorrov. Sound good?" Kolt asks me.
"Sure, sir." I respond.
"Call me Kolt, please. I don't like the formality."
"Kol... Kolt, then."
