Hi, guys. Did you know that I'm close to publish my first book? No? Well, I am, and I'm thrilled about it. ^_^

This is a lineup of the main three characters. Their race suffer from something I like to call the BioTree Syndrome, meaning that the older they get, the more their become plants and trees.

And why do I show you this? Well, mainly because next Friday I'm starting to upload a comic I drew, based on a short story I wrote previous to the main book, and I thought it'd be nice if you met the characters, first.

I've messed up their heights, though. Naoki is supposed to be a little bit shorter, whereas Hana is even a little bit taller. Oh, well.

NAOKI:
He's the most severe case of BioTree in the whole town. His skin is already green because of the large amount of chlorophile (sp?) runing through his veins. Not to mention all his hair is already replaced with fresh grass. He also has a couple of prehensile vines growing from his shoulders, which he can command. Very handy for hanging around and grabbing distant objects.

HANA:
A very tall, thin, and extremely shy, young woman. Hana's skin is rather pale, since she doesn't like to get out of her house much. She's a great cook, but terribly afraid of everything and everyone, save for her few,close friends. Naoki and she have been friends since forever, and yet she finds it severely hard to talk to him without stuttering.
Her BioTree is shown on her fingertips, which out-grow in small, prehensile vines (ideal for that extra grip on objects). Also, the top of her hairs is starting to turn grass-green, with even a buckle of a sprout groung from her head. She rather likes it.

HAAKUMUSHI:
"Haaku" to his friends, he's the laziest, care-free sloth the town has to offer. He's in great physical condition, which is a mystery because he avoid work as a rule. He's a womanizer, too: probably every woman in town feels a certain attraction toward him (save Hana, curiously), and he never rejects all those hot meals, cold drinks, and warm clothes girls are always offering him; much to the hatred of the rest of the males in town.
His BioTree is shown on his mouth, which resembles a fly-trap. He has no teeth and can open his jaws almost in 90º. He truly has an ear-to-ear smile, and he *loves* it.
