STORY TIME!
In the dark cold forest, a lonely charmander treads a hardly visible path. Unfortunately, there was a terrible snowstorm tonight and the charmander didn't heed the warnings from nature and ended up traversing it's blistering cold embrace. A fire-type could not survive so long in this blizzard. Time was running out. The charmander was freezing and had to find any kind of shelter to reside in for the night or he could not live to see tomorrow.
After a moment of desperate searching, to his luck, the charmander spots a small cave in a forest hill and quickly runs to it. He finally found a place to rest after being in the harsh snow for a significant amount of time. But even in the little cave, while it wasn't deathly cold, the very chilly winds easily breached through the opening and covered the entire space. The charmander escaped the bitter snow but he wasn't completely out of the cold embrace. With his luck ran out and no where else to go, all the charmander could do was huddle himself tightly and hope hypothermia doesn't decide to claim him among this brutal storm.
A few moments have passed and the charmander was slowly fading into unconsciousness after freezing for so long...suddenly, he hears a voice nearby, "oh my, where'd you come from sweetie". The charmander slowly turns his head to the direction of the voice and spots an alolan ninetales laying beside the cave wall and her little cub cuddled beside her, seemingly in a deep sleep. The ninetales must've noticed the small frail flame on the tip of his tail, otherwise he would've blended into the extremely shaded background. The charmander must've not noticed them either since he was too focused on finding a place to stay in. "What happened to you sweetie, you look very pale and you're shivering too much", the ninetales grows concerned. "Why don't you come closer sweetie and warm up with us". She softly prompted the charmander to come to her and with the little energy he had left, slowly walked closer until he was within inches of her. Upon closer inspection, a worried expression fills her face. "Oh my goodness, look at you, you endured the cold for too much, you're in dire need of warmth. Poor thing, how'd you even get here", the ninetales becomes more worried with the charmander's health.
"Please, rest beside me, I may be the opposite element but I hope it'll be warm for you even a little". The charmander gladly accepts her request and nestles up beside her fur, next to the sleeping little alolan vulpix, making sure not to wake her up. Her fur quickly comforted the charmander upon contact, it felt like a soft, chill pillow. "How is it dear, I hope you feel warmed up, and thank you for not waking up my baby", the ninetales expresses her thanks. "We were treading for a very long time in this forest until this storm started to appear and we found this small opening so we have to wait it out. This little one here tired herself out frolicking too much. It's the first time in a while that I seen her sleep so soundly". The ninetales converses with the charmander to make the experience more pleasant for him. But while the fur was comfy, it was starting to get even chillier for the charmander. His consciousness was beginning fade...but into an eternal sleep.
The ninetales notices and gets very anxious. "Oh dear, you're getting worse. You're not gonna make it at this rate, I-I have to do something or you'll die", the ninetales grows more worried and puts her quick-thinking to work. After a minute of stressing, a strange idea crosses her mind. It was unorthodox and something she never thought would come to mind, but the charmander's life was on the line and she cared very much for him, almost as enough as she had with her cub. "You can do this you can do this you can do this", she repeats to her self for reassurance. She brushes off the white noise and swiftly stands on her feet while trying not to wake the little cub up. She descends her head towards the charmander and...opens her big maw. The charmander was losing his awareness and couldn't focus on his surroundings anymore. The small flame on his tail began to fade away. "Please forgive me for what I'm about to do dear, it may be uncomfortable and scary but I want you to live for your sake". With those words, she lifts up the charmander but softly as to not hurt him with her sharp teeth and gently slopes him into her maw. The size of him in her mouth can be compared to a slightly large teddy bear. "Mm mm hmm", she sets him up right in her mouth to begin to swallow.
She lifted her head upwards to support the process...and begun to gulp him down. Her throat muscles weren't so strong but slid the charmander down swiftly nonetheless. A bulge can be seen in her neck, showing that the charmander was sliding down into her gullet. It took a few gulps to help until she could feel him partially filling her stomach, "ahh huff huff", she exclaims. "That was the biggest thing I've ever swallowed. I don't know how, but it worked", she looks at her belly, a bulge is there in plain sight. Even she felt how cold the charmander was, it was like swallowing a whole popsicle but regardless, she was relieved. "There we go dear, nice and warm for you. This should surely warm you up". With that, she lays back down beside her cub, her stomach sounds off some gurgle and grumbling noises from the unexpected "meal", the cold feeling in her belly starts dimming down, signifying the charmander was getting warmed up for sure and the little vulpix inadvertently got an extra thick pillow. She breathes a sigh of relief, "now I can rest soundly without having to worry about anything". She lays her head on her paws then takes one last look at her cub and then her belly before falling asleep, "good night baby, good night little one, I'll spit you out once the storm passes. Try not to endanger yourself like that anymore sweetie". She looks back at her cub with a humorous expression, "you sure are a heavy sleeper".
