This seemed like it was going to be another fun animated family sitcom, until about halfway through the first episode when mr Addison finds their estranged son living in a dumpster and takes him back home. He seems to have some serious mental problems and won't stop talking like a salesman who doesn't know what he's advertising. It's around about this point in the episode where the laugh tracks stop and are replaced by awkward silence. Later on in the episode where the Addisons are getting ready for bed, the weird son can hear his parents arguing in the other room. The mum seems to want to kick him back out onto the streets and keeps calling him names and stuff, and upon hearing all this he just breaks down crying. This scene goes on for about a minute, way longer than it needs to be, and then the episode ends. I have no idea what made the writers think this was an ok direction to take this show in. Would've rated 1 star, but there was a funny joke about cars having legs that made me laugh so hard I fell off the sofa and hit my head on the coffee table, so it gets another star for that joke alone."
