It's the house calls I can't stand. They're like Jehovah's Witnesses, you let them through the door and they'll never leave until they've gotten the desired reaction. The worst part is, if they think they can get it from you they'll keep coming back! And it's not so bad the first time, I mean an evil entity comes through the front door, instantly you get the cold shivers and the overwhelming dread and you kind of have to have your back against a corner so you know there's no way something could be behind you. Yeah that first time is easy. But four or five house calls in, you're over it. I've had to take night classes in hysteria acting just to convince them I'm freaked out and they've done their job
I think there's nothing scarier than looking over into the forest while in your car and seeing a glimpse of one! oooooh, the shivers I get!
It's especially hard to be scared by a reoccurring cute evil entity, I've even played card games with one. Eventually the depression and despair become too much and they have to leave.

oh man, totally with you about the forests. I find the more urbanised evil entities have adapted well to their environments too, I mean when you're walking through town at night and you're sure you caught something out of the corner of your eye, lurking in the alleyway. Really quickens your footsteps!
But yeah, when they get out of the shadows and you realise they're kind of weirdly adorable, it does spoil the effect a bit
