something I've been working on on and off for the past week or two.
I'm pretty happy with how it turned out.
It was inspired by some short walks I had taken rather late at night when I was in Ann Arbor earlier this summer. Kinda kicking myself for not having brought my camera. better reference pictures would have been nice :I yes I like taking walks at night shutup I'm weird.
anyway this is kind of a last hoorah for me seeing as I'm off to college in just a few days.

the always find myself listening to the song I used for the title for the painting lol (I left a link for it too but its just a live version because thats all I could find that I could directly link to :/ ) idk it just kinda has the right feel to it :)

Reminds me of myself.
I occassionally spend time out on another ranch with only a small town nearby. Not enough lights to suffocate the stars.
On full moons, it's bright enough outside that one doesn't need a flashlight. You can trust the moon to reveal anything you'd need revealed. With only the relative shade of the trees to hide anything.
The relative peace of night time walks is a therapy in itself, sometimes.
And oh yeah, I am in love with the interaction between the different light sources and the figure. You fucking kick ass.
