Hmmm fine let me make a hopeless attempt of possibly guessing who they are. My guess they are working solo in various parts of the world as a sort of organization, they work as agents in other organizations. They seems to fight for difrent forces, but they actually all in secret work for one group, a group were they are the only members and where they themselfs are the leaders.
With the informations they'll gather from around the world, they plan to betray they're organizations and escape with the wisdom and the force obtained. They might later be undefeatable if noone is to stop them.
Even if people know this organization exists, hardly anything can be done about it, due to the fact all members are completly difrent and thus guessing who is a member of it, is nearly impossible....

Oh geee thank you, I kinda thought it was completly unoriginal. I just wrote it cause I really like the theme of totally difrent people working together. No matter if its' the good guys or the bad guys.

It's also good to add something to bind them together beside the fact they fight for the same thing. In my comic I plan putting an organization where the members got code names based on the zodiac signs. In this image I see the eyes of these characters look alike, you could evolve that idea, for example giving them contact lenses with ancient symbols.

Most of my characters, including this mystery art, are named after creatures from myths, legends and fairytell. Few are even named after pets I've known.

While oblivious to them, only humans could understand the true source and meaning of the first or last names they bear.

Well if you do follow that cycle then these mysterious characters should also follow that cycle, or should I say... a cycle of the cycles?
For example all of them could be named like the muses or some other group of mythological characters.

Hmm...this is a fascinating groups of characters.
The one in the middle looks like he was modeled off of a Nazi solider. I'm not sure though.

Maybe or maybe not. But one thing for sure, Nazis are pretty much extinct in this world, thank goodness for that. ^^
