The folding stock version of the AK74N! This variant was mainly used with airborne or mechanized infantry, where space was a concern. The rear sling mount was put on the opposite side of the stock, so that the sling could be tightened against the stock as seen in the picture, & would be loosened when the stock was folded, so it could be used for carrying. Commonly seen during the Soviet-Afghan war was a tourniquet wrapped around the stock & a bandage stowed inside.
