Galactic Echidna!
I hadn’t done a galaxy piece for a while when I did this, and I was in the mood to do one. I also wanted to do something that I could add to my Redbubble later on. I’m debating on making a set.
At first, I thought of doing a galaxy hedgehog, but it’s been done. Like, a lot. Hedgehogs are very cute and make for great drawings. I have a cactus sticker set with a hedgehog. But I wanted to do something different.
I was inspired by a family trip to a local wildlife park to do an echidna instead. They’re just as cute, if not a bit cuter, than hedgies. I couldn’t get a good photo of the Caversham echidnas though, so I used a photo from shutterstock as my reference.
And the galaxy colours? Aussie Green and Gold of course!
Digitally painted on Procreate.
