An old but recently cleaned up shitpost of a short story.

There aren't enough of me to get at all these ideas I've had. I intended to have more stuff in the scifi setting this is in.

Deep lore to tease the people that see this, and probably won't get more, the planet is home to dinosaur aliens. The raptors there are, at their highest point, in the very early bronze age in a few city states. Most of the planet is still in the stone age. A not entirely intentional, but deemed highly necessary, first contact occurred thanks to the system's proximity to a recently opened sector of stars. The unnamed space snakes are in a very close alliance with humanity, who went through a similar uplift and troubles, so the two undertook the efforts of trying to introduce the raptors to burgeoning connected systems. Before any other groups decided to exploit a pre-spaceflight world rich with exotic life, a sapient native species, and uncomfortable questions raised in the ecology and long buried megaliths.

I still have to write WKW and AFaW, and I wanna do some more fantasy stuff, so don't get your hopes up for me going off the rails here.
