These memorial portraits are always bittersweet. it is very beautiful and is joyful to see but it's also a little sad knowing the animal in question died x3

Gorgeous and touching - I know of memorial pics (I had one done) and I can tell you did the kitty justice.

While I've been house-sitting for my grandmother while she's visiting family this month. Late(11:38 pm) last night I saw this quick movement out of the corner of my eye to the right of where I was sitting. And from what I saw I could tell that the form it had was that of a Black cat and as I saw him running into the Laundry room area. Now early this year my grandmother told me that she has felt this "Phantom Cat" walking on the foot of her bed whenever she was always going to bed. Well, that Phantom Cat that's going onto her bed is her old cat Shadowbug. And Shadowbug was an all-black cat who passed away back on Aug. 4th, 2014.

reminds me of Hocus Pocus...
