This one is quite a bit older but I still like it. In late 2018 my family had to say goodbye to our 16 year old cat, Max. I painted a little memorial to him based off one of my fav photos I took of him laying in fall leaves.For contact and commission info please check out my link tree!

This is mesmerizing and beautiful, Max was clearly a perfect parlor panther. Such detail in this, from the leaves to the way you have some of that dark brown showing under the "black" of his fur. When the sunlight strikes my Ulysses (and my passed Ra) just right, can see the exact same thing. It's a small but amazing thing to see in this portrait.

My ex had a cat with the same name. His nickname was Maximoo. Max. Whatever. That cat was insane. Max the Monster. Looked JUST like this one you painted too. I am so terribly sorry for your loss. Black cats are hella special and so quirky!

Oh he was so quirky! He would scream if something upset him, deer in the yard? SCREAM. Another cat is around? SCREAM! Played fetch, jumped off the walls. He was pretty wild up til he turned senior. His name when in trouble was Maxwell. lol

Max liked to bitch slap you as you walked by. And just.... out of the blue too. LOL. He could play fetch too and he could do a lot of crazy things. He was a funny as hell cat. Yours sounds hilarious a well. Shame our babies can't stay with us as long as we are here for.
