The Snowfang gnolls, despite being more 'receptive' of outsiders compared to other clans (namely the Blackburrow clan), are no strangers to warfare or battle, being on the very forefront against the Tower of Frozen Shadow and its many undead inhabitants and combatants. With the clan's numbers dwindling each battle, it's become increasingly apparent that the more 'valuable' members of the clan be guarded at all costs. Tylex Strongpaw is one of the clan's more skilled and tougher individuals, and such is the reason why he was chosen by Grisa, the clan's shaman and matriarch, to be her personal guard. After all, in war, it's best to take no chances, and Grisa's safety has since been Tylex's number one priority. Rarely does this grizzled warrior leave Grisa's side- such is his devotion and seriousness of the duty he's been given. Though not the biggest talker or most verbally 'social' of his kin, what he lacks in speech he makes up for in action, usually choosing to 'talk' with the point of his spear, so to speak.
