Disclaimer: I made a little more than this but this was my first time making this
Okay so about a month ago I made Dak Bulgogi, which is a Korean dish. Dak means chicken in Korean. Anyways yeah first time making Dak Bulgogi and only used minimal ingredients, def gotta make more -w-
Ingredients
1 pound boneless chicken breast or thighs(I used actually chicken tenders)
Marinade Ingredients
3 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1 tablespoon honey
1 tablespoon rice wine or mirin( I used mirin)
1 tablespoon minced garlic
1 teaspoon grated ginger
1 tablespoon sesame oil
pinch of black pepper
1 teaspoon sesame seeds (optional)
Directions
1) Rinse chicken pieces. Trim off the excess fat and cut each of the chicken pieces into small sizes, about 2 inches long and 1 inch wide
2) In a bowl, mix the marinade ingredients together until the sugar has dissolved.
3) Coat the chicken pieces with the marinade and marinate for about 30 minutes in the refrigerator.
4) Preheat skillet over medium high heat. Add chicken pieces, preserving the marinade.
5) Cook until chicken is cooked all the way through and slightly caramelized, about 2-4 minutes on each side.(Sugar and honey burn easily)
6) Serve.
