Thank you! I suspect the way I do this is rather unusual! I constantly jump between frames to make alterations rather than being able to sort out the whole sequence in just lines. it may have some similarity with sculpting, perhaps even more than my non-animation. eventually i also became accustomed to switching colors with keyboard commands also which has led to more in-depth shading. I am glad if it looks functionally distinct! Perhaps I will be able to find additional uses for this method if I ever finish with all the sprites I need to make.
