Also note, I am NOT open for commissions yet, this is just for future reference.

So, anyone who reads my journals (and those who know me in person) know I have been thinking over and trying to come up with more set prices for quite a while now. I've talked to friends, talked to other artists, and even had several public discussions about it.

I've tried to balance this out, and have put a lot of thought and discussion into this. I also had to try to work this around the exchange rate from UK pounds to US dollars, considering a lot if not a good majority of those who commission me, tend to be from there.

So, feel free to discuss this further, but please try to keep polite. I realize this is kind of a big topic right now. Not everyone will agree with this kind of pricing. I respect that, so I hope others will too.


Now, on with the actual commission info:

Icon/Avatar: $5 for Bantam(chibi) ~ $10 for stylised ~ $15 for standard.
Done digitally. Made for standard 100x100 pixel size but a much larger resolution, 300 dpi image will also be provided.

Traditional Badge*: $35
Done with markers & watercolour pencils on 3x4 inch bristol board. Laminated and with a necklace thread (or badge clip if available).

Digital Badge*: $40
High resolution, 300 dpi image e-mailed. Can be printed on photo paper and laminated with a necklace thread (or badge clip if available) on request.

Sketch: $25 ~ +10 for additional character. ~ +10 for full background
Graphite on A4 bristol board. Simple/minimal background unless specified for one.

Pencil and Ink Drawing: $35 ~ +15 for additional character ~ +15 for full background
+15 for shaded ink drawing
Refined graphite or ink drawing on A4 bristol board. Simple/minimal background unless specified for one.

Character Sheet: $50 ~ +20 for additional pose ~ +5 for additional expression or detail
Drawn digitally with flat colours. Standard 2 posed with choice of front, side, or back. High resolution (at least 300 dpi) image e-mailed.

Full Digital: $120 ~ +20 for additional character ~ +30 for full background
Painted digitally at 300dpi or higher. Minimal Background unless specified for one. Sketches and inks usually done traditionally and mailed after completion. Can also include an A4 or A3 print on request.

Full Traditional: $130 ~ +30 for additional character ~ +45 for full background
Tria markers, watercolours, colour pencils on A4 bristol board. Minimal Background unless specified for one. Prices can be discussed for larger sized pieces. Also includes any draft sketches, which is all mailed after completion.

If required, payment for commissions above $50 can be done in instalments, arranged depending on the total cost. Commission won't be started till the first instalment is paid, however.
