The Nature Mage Von Davidicus (Alignment: NG) is known as The Laughing Mage of the Forest. Classical elementalists who try to replicate his magics often fail, for they think in terms of Earth, Air, Fire, Water, but the magics of a Nature Mage revolve instead around the realms of Land, Sea, and Sky. His flute is a well-known sound in his domain, and with it he casts his spells through Music.
He is thought by many to be well-grounded, steadfast, gentle, and kindly, much like Mother Nature herself.
But those who are wiser know a deeper truth: Von is a Nature Mage, and from Nature comes both the gentle breeze and the destructive tempest; the babbling brook and morning dew, and the sweeping flood and burying snow; the bountiful land, the barren sands, and the unyeilding rock; the Children of Nature include the lark and the hawk, the doe and the wolf, the guppy and the shark.
Those who are wiser also know he is a bear. When angered, his wrath is a thing to behold--likely the last thing his target ever will behold. Like nature, and like any wild animal, he can be unpredictable and mercurial.
