Personality and Biography: Shade Altaica is a brave, confident and proud Tiger known for her pride and strength as well as ferocity. She is known to be very brash and is also quite honest, sometimes brutally. In spite of this, she can be loyal to those she considers her friends and never does anything out of malice and is relatively good-natured. She can also be very protective and caring towards her younger brother and cousin Sumatra and Caspian, whom she loves dearly in spite of their antics sometimes testing her patience. She finds her large size to be restrictive at times, but can find it very helpful at other times. She loves swimming and will often lounge in pools during the hottest days in the summer while her siblings play nearby. She will bravely fight lions and bears as a means of maintaining her reputation as the king of the beasts, a title arguably contested with the lions. She can also be very adaptable yet can be a very stern teacher as well. She can also be rather short-tempered and aggressive, which can make it hard for others to approach her at times, though their patience is often greatly rewarded. She finds her difficulty in climbing very embarrassing, but makes up for it with her swimming skills and stealth. As a tiger, she has a high respect for lions and bears, but will fiercely fight them off if they give her trouble.
