This was done umm.. in 2008 I guess? It was a commission (OMG someone actually commissioned me XD) for a Lion King rp. It was my first time trying to draw a lion in the Disney style. The avvie I did off it has a simple blinking animation. I actually really love the look of pixel art and I am in awe of people who can do it really well (check out pixelalley.com... oh my god!!!)
