I ended up buying all Russian plum furniture for my ak74 and I think it looks a lot better than the black plastic that was on it.

You might know this already, but plum is the natural color of polyamide polymer. The early black dyes the Russians used would make the plastic turn brittle, so they quit using it and just left it the natural color til they perfected the dye recipe.

Is this the basic AK74 or is there a rail on the other side making it the N model? Figured I'd ask :)

Basic mount a ak usually has on the other side.

Ah it does the left side rail? That means this is an AK74N, The AKs with side mount rails are called N because they were able too take an old Night Vision scope on the side. It's great for mounting the OPK-7 or a picatinny rail for a holo sight of your choice.

Another thing they don’t realize is most of these shootings happen in gun free zones or somewhere where they have strict gun laws.
