Because Mayra got a drawing, and Roland got a drawing. So it would be completely wrong for the 'good' Commodore not to get one of her own...
...
It started quite promosing but I couldn't really get the body right (least for now) but rather than just scrapping it I made a few copies of the head (which I actually quite liked) and put together a few of these different expressions.
Unintentionally you can look at this and pick out a little narrative or narratives dependent on if you want to take it all as one thing or each line of pictures as their own.

haha, I actually quite like that (might make something out of that line) but come on now, we all know that's jam ;)
(Though I couldn't imagine the size of container one would need to fit that whole muzzle in...)
Very true... Was kind of being lazy; I'll fix it next time X)
Thank you, and thanks for the fav as well Alex ^_^

I actually thought of strawberry milkshake because a few weeks ago I bought one in the local shopping centre but dropped and spilled it on my way back to the car. I could have cried, but I was too embarrassed to go back and get another one! And yes that's a good point, I forgot she's huge.
Not really a matter of being lazy, I just figured lupines use their ears to express emotion, and whiskers...and we'll just imagine her tail is being very expressive but we just can't see it ;) And y/w!

Oh no! I do hope you were least able to get one sip... Couldn't imagine anything worse than grabbing a sweet treat only to lose it before you got the chance to try it... I'd likely would have gone back; I've been without a milkshake for that long.
And yep! I'd assume there's a whole market for resized products and supplies for lupines and likely everyone likes to steal of their rations because who wouldn't want a 1kg tub of chocolate spread... Actually funny you went to milkshakes; I've always had the little lore thought in the back of my head that lupines would have a sweet tooth... Though I don't think Vel would be a milkshake girl ;)
Oh completely agreeded; the top set of images would likely have a slow progression of tail going from moderate to take - off. I mean that's the nice thing about tails, they're kind of a traitor to intention; if their happy that things going let everyone around them know, no matter what look they put on their face.
Should have something with a little more vaired ear work tommorw. ^_^

I think getting a taste first just made it worse!
heh and yes that's a good point, the smaller species could get some real bargains. And there you go, lupines are a species after my own heart, what does she prefer then? ;)
Ah I see, and yes, I always imagined it as being something like OCD, anthros can control their ears and tails if they concentrate but it gives them a headache to do so for long, easier just to let them do their own thing!

Oh that always makes it worse X(
I think the only draw back would be lugging around all the oversized goods; or convincing someone it's a wortwhile purchase;
"Am telling you Percy we could use some of these 800ml energy drinks... What? Am sure it's perfectly acceptable caffeine content"
I think she'd like hot chocolate (but made with real chocolate; not the powdered stuff), eggnog or vanillia milk with honey... I think that would a trend with Arctics; they really enjoy things warm. It would be like one of those ingrained comforts; all is good when you can get something warm inside you and everything is trully right with the world if you get something warm and sweet. ^_^
Hehe, it's like the best excuse for a misbehaving tail "this thing has a mind of it's own" ;)

...this conversation has made me want another milkshake ;)
heh I see, and that's a good point, I never thought of that re warm liquids and cold weather species. I have to say I don't like drinking anything warm, its part of the reason why I have no taste for tea or coffee. When I visited New York and someone offered me iced tea for the first time I thought they were winding me up. To be fair I thought they were doing that on quite a few occassions.
And yes, I imagine anthro species would have all kinds of social conventions around ears and tails, its actually kind of interesting that humans and other animals, for example dogs, have no real difficulty understanding the others body-language, though that raises the question of how much is learned, how much is innate, and how much humans and dogs have grown to understand each other in our long companionship.

Ah, am such a bad influence X)
Would you go for the same flavour, or would that just seem like tempting fate? ;) I've always been a vanilla shake person myself.
Yeah, just one of those things I've heard a lot in regards to outdoor activities and survival; if you're out in the cold elements for a while warm drinks or food just have a way of boosting spirits... And if you're part of species who's whole existence is cold 24/7, 7 days a week for 365 days of the year that would likely become part of your being.
I could fully imagine the perplexed look Arctics give when offered something like a cold soup. "It's cold? Ei, ei, pikku mies: I'll show you how real soup is made!" *proceeds to ruin gazpacho soup*
Oh am the opposite, days not right without me cup of tea in the morning. Coffee doesn't really do it for me, though funnily enough I've really been getting into the cold canned coffee drinks.
Iced tea however sounds like absoutle heresy (or maybe I've never had it properly made)
Hehe, sounds like quite the adventure ^_^
It is a very interesting question that of nature vs nurture. I think it would also come down to if we're thinking in regards to social or solitary animals. I think for a lot of social animals there's a large part of experience at those starting stages. I mean cats are a good example as if they're not socialized in their youths they'll turn feral.
I think it's quite a similar process for dogs how they're socialized in their youth can effect how they behave as they get on... Though once again theirs the effect of how the animals are treated though their life and their is likely an effect from genetic and natural dispositions.

I only ever really get strawberry milkshakes, though I do like vanilla. I haven't been back there since but I'll definitely get one the next time. ;)
Ah and I see, that makes sense! I do think I'm one of the few people who doesn't take caffeine whether cold in coke or in coffee or tea, people look at me like I'm insane.
And that's a good point, it would be interesting though probably unethical to run experiments on dogs to see how much their friendliness to people is innate rather than learned.
