The past, filled with nothing but abuse, Beaten and belittled, treated with no respect what so ever, called names and mistreated it was a sad life, but she never faulted, and never once blamed the people who hurt her. It was till she was branded a freak by those who said they would care for her. She called out for anyone, anything to come and save her.... And Ruby answered.

Her Past changed, the tattered clothes she wore, became a symbol of her new servitude to the one who saved her, the one she calls her beloved, Mistress, Guardian, even mother. the pain she suffered, are now reminders of those who hurt her, who feared her and how all who cross her path or that of her mistress will be sorry!

Her branded eye now helps her summon her blade, she fears noone now, but all should fear her Wrath

A little idea, I had to show off the two sides of Crystal, one before her transformation and one after

The left, shows the pain and suffering she had, she is crying due to the pain of her freshly branded eye cuts from when she was beaten and a tattered nun uniform, to show the abuse she lived through Her hand also, reaching out for the support of her future self being like "Lend me your power"

The right showing her Present self, a strong focused look in her eyes, her Uniform pristine and well looked after showing the pride she has in her new role, in life her "Wing" held high to show she is always ready to fight. And she holds her sword, as a sign of power, ready to fight anyone that would hurt her, or her beloved.
