I just kept thinking about these two fighting each other every single time I listen to a couple of fanmade Friday Night Funkin' songs named "Foolhardy" and "Bushwhack", and I was thinking about more of each of the characters everytime the thought came to mind.
For the scarecrow, is an embodiment of a farmer who tragically died on his farm as a result of farm-esque Halloween-themed monsters that live there, coming about every night killing any intruder indiscriminently. As one of these monsters, he also guards the farm from anyone who dares enter the land, even the farmers who own it. During the day, though, he's just a run of the mill scarecrow put up to scare away the birds in the cornfields, and when he isn't killing anyone at night, he's taking special care of said cornfield with the manual farm equipment. He may look ordinary, especially like the other scarecrow he's based on, Zardy form Zardy's Maze, but he may be more powerful within.
As for the vampire, well being based off of JJBA's DIO, of whom I initially thought of as fighting a superpowered scarecrow, is a Japanese vampire who was part of a Yakuza as a normal human who eventually became a vampire when he almost died at the blade of a rival Yakuza member but manage to become undead enough as a vampire to survive and get his first drink of blood from that rival.Unfrotunately from im, he was outcasted due to the Yakuza's superstitious fear of anything unholy and he eventually found his place in a rural town where he uncovered legends of a haunted farm where all who enter at night are never seen again. Feeling ambitious, he still staked his rule on the town and started killing at his leasure up to the night where he finally witnessed one of the monsters when going after the farmer who owned the haunted farm at the time. Things were still normal since then, however, and all was normal until the haunted farm was burned during the day for fear thata it's the vampire's daytime shelter. starting on that very night, the haunting has seemingly spread beyond the farm with bodies piling up, seemingly having been killed by farm equipment and vegatation. and the vampire himself was not going to let that slide and to solidify his own rule, decided to kill every single monster who dares wander the night, which is how the scarecrow and the vampire would eventually get into a fight.
