I will have to agree with you. This rather cool... The expression is difference than I expected.

ssn_inc's reputation is as a porn artist, and I've certainly commissioned him to do those. When I asked him to do this, I think he was so pleased at being able to draw a friend of his as the subject of a non-explicit piece of art that he went overboard with making it (and Cheska) look good.

He succeeded and I am not only absolutely pleased with the results, I'm proud to have had anything to do with its creation.

I can't say it better than, "It's simply lovely."

Well, I can't speak for him... but given what he did for me, I can appreciate his skill with the pencil, etc. When asked to step out of his element (or what people thinks it is), there is a passion that comes through in his work. I have seen this before, and personally... I am rather glad that he still has it.
That said, it would be interesting to see more of something like this with Cheska.

In what way? I'm not trying to be sarcastic, either. I've put Cheska through a number of sexy and 'evil grin' situations: this was intended (somewhat) as a 'thank you' to her for putting up with my silliness. And I think it came as a surprise. She knew a joke was coming (Towel Snap) but I don't think she'd been warned about this.

So if you're talking about Cheska in other 'fancy dress' situations, please let me know what you're thinking. I don't/won't guarantee anything will come of it, though...

I am more of a fan of the contemporary than anything else. As much as having Cheska in cheeky/sexy scenarios is curious, it seems to me that there is more to her expression when "buttoned down" (relaxing, etc.) . It's something that I wonder why I don't see more of, but then most have their own itch to scratch.

I could say more, but that would be imposing at this junction. If I have more of a solid idea, I will likely voice it latter with you and/or Cheska.

I do like Cheska, although I've never met her in person and probably never will. She mentioned that Shane asked her if he could do a request using her Cheska character in a very sexy explicit image. She didn't know me but she (apparently) trusted Shane enough to give permission. She's stated that she's been pleased with the results, for which I've been grateful. I then started (playfully) expanding what was going on the the stage (and backstage) at the Razzle Dazzle and even made some jokes at my own expense (in more ways than one) about salads.

I've subjected 'her' to a lot of my sexy thoughts and weird sense of humor and she's either put up with, or enjoyed, all of it. If she wants to consider this a big 'Thank You!' for all of that, I'd be proud.

ST, not only are the cranes appropriate on numerous levels, get your sister to send you a copy of the hi-res work. The detail work on them is incredible! I've had Shane do work of Cheska doing 'things' but in many ways, this work tops my list.

I'm not an artist, but I've been around them long enough to give you a partial answer, at least. Shane knows anatomy. While his X-rated work certainly proves this, it also means that he realizes how fabrics react to gravity; where they'll encounter a humanoid body part and where they'll just hang loose. With that knowledge, it's merely a matter of shading to make certain parts darker and therefore appear to be further away from the viewer.

Heh, I believe he did say a major focus of his new way of drawing is anatomy, and I gotta say, the clothing part is not a part of anatomy I've seen on this site much. It's really neat. I wonder how he studied the clothing part.
