I recently started making an avatar world in Overte. I'm adding a new avatar each week, so if you want to try Overte you can play as any of my OCs.  axolotlthon's Voidboy avatars are available here too.
You can also customize them and use them as a base for your own avatars for use in Overte. If you post modified versions publicly, just give me (or  axolotlthon in case of Voidboy avatars) credit for the base :)

Overte is a VRchat-like application, but more creation-oriented. You can build worlds there in-game with your friends and things you build stay there after you log off. It works really well in desktop mode too, so you don't need a VR headset. It also has a built in text chat if you prefer to avoid voice chat.
It's free, open-source and decentralized, so you can host your own servers (even on your PC), and you own all your content.

Overte is still very much work in progress, so any help with development is greatly appreciated.
