Go check out their artworks.I designed the base concepts after reading the knowledge of Shigeko on the fan wiki page, and Mayo finished the page with her skillful hands~! So this piece reflects some aspects of her biography and personality.
The upper left shot is that Shigeko herself and neatly, well-ordered, perfectly-organized shelves of materials of information, that she has collected.
The left side of the upper-middle shots is her gimlet eyes, penetrating stare at things, intend to express her watchful attitude that is never off her guard.
The right side of the upper-middle shots is her break time with a cigarette, rugged looking, but also looks quite tired, with an implication of some sort of melancholiness and grief-stricken.
The upper right shot is a chibi Shigeko herself, going to a neighborhood watch while smoking!
The bottom middle shot is about her younger time, based on this part from the article: "Shigeko’s parents never informed her of the existence of a twin egg, up until their death bed, this realization shocked her and caused a dramatic shift in her personality. She never really found out the truth about her sibling’s status, the search for them within Gold Ring nearly driving her mad with anger and depression." ― Digging, searching, walking, and walking, around the vast, extraordinary wide Gold Ring, for her only sibling, without any scent, it would have driven her to the deep desperation. So I designed a simple but theatrical expression for this part, and Mayo excellently depicted it very well.
The bottom right shot is about her much younger time, when she was working as a fisherman’s apprentice. It's based on this part from the article: "A quiet yet inquisitive bird, she would write down everything there would be to learn about crafts, ideas, laws and society in a journal."
