The 285th's Elite recon team rolling out on operation.

When the 285th was formed in the midst of the 3rd North American Coalition War, the first commanding officer stated to the men and women under him that with this unit, no matter the race, gender, or technological integration of a person, the only blocker to their progress was their ability. The command of the unit still holds that statement true to this day.

Greeting fellow fluffies! I’m Synn, your neighborhood navy wolf. I’m starting up an Arma 3 unit based around fellow furries and those interested in the fluff. Now, while I have only been playing Arma 3 myself for a relatively short time, I’m a storyteller and dungeon master for a variety of TTRPGs and I love building missions and operations for my friends and I to complete. The 285th Fluffy Toasters is my way of doing that through Arma, and I would love to share that with anyone who wants to participate.

At the 285th, we are a casual and roleplay focused group with light milsim aspects. We don’t expect much beyond treating everyone with respect and having a good time, and new players are more than encouraged to come join the game! I have a team of more experienced Arma players who managed to get me into the game, and I’m always looking for those who want to help out with running and generally enjoying the unit.
