Rabbits have a well-earned reputation, but it takes two to do what they're known for.
Feels like I'm kind of getting back into things, though the slowness is already showing its head again. This is eight hours for a straightforward finished piece with no background, but I'm happy to have something I'm happy with regardless. It's not too common these days that I dislike a finished piece, actually, in stark contrast to the sketches I've focused on for a while.
Still, though, I think the sketch practice has paid off at least a little bit, as I can pull of some nice things like the (admittedly plain) perspective here more easily. I should experiment more with incorporating those interesting techniques into finished work, in fact, but I want to balance that and taking obscene amounts of time to finish a piece.
Also felt like I was a bit lacking in references to pregnancy and popping lately, especially in finished pieces, so I decided to amend that. Still need to actually make good on those things, too, of course, but that poses the challenge of making a sequence leading up to it without taking an excessive amount of time, and that's difficult even with sketches alone (even though I admittedly made much longer sequences when sketches were involved).
I can at least enjoy having this for now, in any case.

Fantastic work!
And if you want to save yourself a frame in popping sequences, maybe try jump-cutting? Go from the frame of their absolute maximum size, to the aftermath; could be nothing left but scraps, them unharmed with spiral eyes, or anything between! I'm all for popping, but it's a challenge to portray in a static medium. Sometimes letting people imagine it can be more effective!

She might regret those words very soon >w>;; her belly's already red!!! I don't think she's gonna make it full term
It does sound like fairly long time, but the picture looks good as a result so i'd say worth it ^^
And thank you for going for some preg again! It's a bliss to see especially with the usual perils~
