wanted to do something quick and personal as a mental post it note. feeling like absolute dog shit emotionally. so have Sarnastra under the full moon's light and magic, free from the chains of the masks enchantment for a single night. once the dawn breaks she no longer can truly be herself. her powers once again seal away to a whisper of what they should be, and that's only if she wears the mask. Without it she becomes a powerless fox-like creature.
torn from her own existence, robbed of her power and shackled to the will of they who summoned her, only finding some small freedoms to regain her own agency after making a deal with a Fae Queen. Even that did not restore her. This is her blessing. This is her Curse. to bear witness as a stranger in strange lands, to leave her new mistresses essence in each reality, forever barred from returning to her true home at her rightful goddess's side. And yet, in every reality she is forced to navigate she can find an echo of her Goddess whens he looks up into the night sky. Perhaps the moon travels with her in spirit? she does not know but the thought gives her some small comfort.
