Another pen doodle sketch I did on the sermon from church. Allow me to introduce this character. This my anthropomorphic frog character, Brendan. He is the protagonist of another series I plan on making in the future called “Amphibian Idiot.” This series is gonna be an American cartoon with gross-out humor, slapstick, action and farce elements. So far, I only thought of how his head would look. I am still trying to decide how his whole anatomy is gonna look like? He is gonna be wearing clothes so he isn’t naked like the Looney Tunes characters.

About Brendan, he is a 27 year old anthropomorphic bullfrog. He is an idiotic hero whose incompetence drives everyone around him nuts, especially the villains. He fights bad guys with his tongue and swings from place to place with it (think like how Spider-Man swings his web from place to place.) He also can get power-ups by eating certain bugs like him shooting fireballs from eating a firefly.

His design is based on that of an American Bullfrog. The art-style was heavily inspired by 90’s Warner Bros. cartoons like Animaniacs, Pinky and the Brain, Tiny Toon Adventures and Freakazoid! And other Saturday Morning cartoons.

Also one more thing too, I know the line on top of his snout looks a little sloppy. I just forgot to curve it. And the line top of his head (not the backwards hat), l tried to see how the hat was gonna fit on his head.
