A painting commemorating my favorite movie, Van Helsing 2004. Many praise it as having the best werewolf design in the media, which I agree with. This movie had everything I love, monsters, a crossover aspect, the holy opposing an unholy force, transformations, and my story beats I find ideal for a werewolf story. The score is also absolutely incredible. Alan Silvestri kills it with a powerfully epic, booming, gothic score.

I remember his ears being a bit bigger in the movie, and the transition from shoulder to head a bit more...slope-y? But other than that, you can instantly recognize Gabriel in his final form.
And the tufts of fur on his chest bunching up to form a convenient cross is a nice touch.
