Oh god, That gets annoying. Do a status effect on an enemy Pokemon, and nine times out of ten (or four times out of five, if confused) it snaps out of the condition on its next turn, or successfully attacks. Have that SAME effect occur to you, and nine times out of ten (or ALL FIVE times if confused) the status effect problem will kick in (paralysis, sleeping, confusion especially)
Even worse when confused: if my opponent's pokemon gets confused, it'll eithder snap out of it on the first turn or manage to attack all five turns it's confused. HAve it done on my Pokemon, they hit themselves for all fice damn turns. UGH.
