Honestly I didn't base them off anything aside from "magical girl" though princess tutu is the closest to gleams that I know of. But I didn't have any official magical girl dresses in mind when making or designing them, it was entirely from my own.
Edit: after looking it up princess tutu doesn't come close either. So none of them had influence from any show at all.
I designed them entirely from what I thought would look nice and fit each one's personality
