I keep a plaster cast of David's eye and draw from it sometimes but the main thing that helps is looking at myself in a full length mirror and trying to draw from that memory. Reference for hands of course is always there, at my fingertips. Yeah, I used to be dead-set on almost exclusively studying from life.
