The upright midnight lycanroc, Gavin Baker. He is the new leader of the guild over at Shady Canyon, renamed to Guild Shady Canyon. His great grandfather, Darius Baker, led the century old guild with such expertise and leadership that the guild has become the largest law enforcement body in the entire southern tip of the continent. The only guild to have that much influence is the distant Guild of Unity on the other side of the continent, who overlooks justice all across the northern half of the landmass. The guild has fostered a strict environment of discipline, authority, and skill unmatched by any other guilds on the continent. However with the passing of his Great Grandfather, and the passing down of responsiblity, Gavin Baker finds himself the leader of the most respected or feared guild on the continent.

Shortly after becoming the new guild leader, Gavin has implemented a more relaxed policy and approach to training and discipline of the guild's guild members. While a controversial change, it has proved effective in increasing the number of recruits in recent months, as well as willing partnerships with other guilds. If this was a good call, or foolish idea has yet to be seen under Gavin's guidance. As for now, he remains a controversial figure, having an opposite approach to leadership than his Great Grandfather before him.

Gavin is a warm and kind individual. While coming from a long line of veteraned warriors, militarymen, and explorers, Gavin has pursued a life of diplomacy and peace. He does this not to oppose his family's legacy, but for his own personal belief of changing times requiring a changing approach. While he is the newest leader for Guild Shady Canyon, he may come off as inexperienced or unfit to rule a guild. However, leadership seems to run in the family bloodline. His peaceful and warm disposition allows him to connect to his guild members on more personal and emotional levels, and has come in handy during diplomatic missions to other lands or to other guilds in the area. Only time can tell if Gavin was a good call to leadership by his Great Grandfather, especially with his drastic changes being done to the Guild Shady Canyon.
