Cool People I Know - Amtrack
Hello; I thought I'd start a little series of pictures consisting of people I've met around the site here and at various meets and conventions.
And to start it right, this is my friend,
amtrack88. I first met him back in 2004 or some time around there, on a Star Fox message board (One that's long-since been lost to the ages, or at least I haven't been there in a long time.) He kept up regular conversation with me, and we first met face-to-face back at FC 2009. He had a camera, I had a bucket hat. Totally awesome! We met even more at FC 2010, where he again had a camera, and I had a top hat. He took a picture of the occasion, which you can find in his gallery someplace. Though you should check out his gallery anyway, he's got a super-enjoyable drawing style!
As depicted here, he's navigating on a computer of unknown make. (Obviously looks like a Mac, but the mouse and keyboard sure don't look like an Apple computer, ha ha). He seems a bit taken aback by what he's found on screen. Maybe he saw Goatse for the first time, or an explosion warning message popped up, or something. Ahh, computers!

Edit: Decided to include Lucas annoying him. "Hey! Hey Amtrack!" "DC!" "Hey! Your chair tastes like a t-shirt!" "I'M USING MY COMPUTER, DC!"
