Two humming bird warriors fly out to scout their territory for intruders and look for nectar. This piece was inspired from an older one of just a single humming bird morph fending off a bee. I had so many requests for another one I decided “why not” since I had so much fun with the first one. This time around I wanted to include two humming birds, one female and one male.

I met you briefly way back in 05 at anthrocon, and bought like, seven of your prints. I bought this one for my mother, who still has it framed in her kitchen on the wall next to the dining table. (and she's not even a furry!)

also I want to mention that you were very nice to me, and that made me very happy.

Oddly enough, Huitzilopochtli, the Aztec king-god of war, was strongly associated with hummingbirds and often took the form of a hummingbird on his visits to earth. I can sort of understand, considering how the rapid thumping of the humingbird's wings is sort of like the frenzied beating of war drums. Yeah? :/
Jeez, you've been doing art longer than I've been ALIVE! That's both cool and kind of intimidating.
