The theme for today was Upgrade and I feel this fits that very well indeed. But despite that, I am iffy about this one, simply because I worry that the way I did this one will create confusion on how it would even work. Upon reflection, I probably should have had the core part BE the torso, or else have the torso be the first thing attached all all the limbs be attached to IT instead of directly to the core. But I don't have time to redo it, as I'm already behind schedule, so bleh.

That said, a brief bit of trivia: My first idea was to have the protagonist be part of a phone app, and an upgrade to said app changing their form. However, I figured this would perhaps be a bit more novel when compared to what I've done before.

Comparing to what CrizBN did, both of my ideas differed from his. Mine were both a technological being (be it physical or digital) having their body upgraded, while his is... I THINK organic to technological? It's hard to tell. Also, I smell impending vore, but that's another matter.
