cyber-zai rarely opens for commissions, and when he does, they fill up instantly. I managed to squeeze in this time 'round, but only barely. I've been wanting to get a Rooth from him since I first stumbled upon him forever-ago. His style is so freakin' excellent, reminiscent of the Digimon series but with flare and a certain .. je ne sais quoi.

To commemorate my upcoming first-ever cruise, here we see Rooth kickin' back on a cruise ship. Sans wings, which I indicated were optional for this piece. cyber-zai was going to add other accents, such as a table with a drink on it, or other chairs, but I think it could have become too busy pretty quickly. The whole scene has a hint of Zen to it, and I dig that. Perhaps his drink is off on the left side. :) I like how the frame of the background is cropped to NOT encompass the subject entirely. Not that he needs it, but it does help him stand out in the pic, obviously, but it's also a nifty style.
