I was also a fan of "Watership Down", going through a mini-WD craze after I read it. This was the first fanart I drew of it, imagining Hazel against a sunset, weary and bitter from his life (I didn't read too far into it at this point, I had no idea what'd be in store for him). Bonus points that I immediately thought "I've got to draw him as anthro".

He looks a bit wonky though. Rabbits have consistently been a difficult species for me to draw.
