# This week I'm down to two Monsters - Eleki and Bado. Once they are done, the Jeeg Monster series will be complete. I might start posting Double, to fully expedite the posting of all Haniwa Phantoms/Robot Beasts, as there would be 15 pictures left to post after this; the Batch was far longer than expected.
Robot Beast Gokira was the 39th Monster of the Week in order of appearance, in Ep.34 of the Kotetsu Jeeg anime. The humanoid type Monster had Yellow/Purple/ Brown Color scheme; the helmet was adorn with four horns and plate in the back. Beside strength, it posses a Laser Beam fired from the smallest horn in the forehead and Missile launchers in the abdomen.
When General Flora informs Emperor Dragon of the completion of the Robot Beast Gokira, he orders her to go out and carry out the new mission with the Beast and a new Weapon installed on the Orochi Fortress, The Magnetic Sink, meant to absorb the energy of Jeeg clean out, allowing Gokira to finish the Mecha. He orders Flora to depart on her mission.
Quick Note: Tension continues between the surviving Ministers, who recommend caution, but Dragon just BTFO them with fire blasts to their faces. Glad to know, that's still going.
Meanwhile, Don and Pancho search the junk yard for a new weapon to the MechaDon2, after minor teasing from Hiroshi and a prank from Gera the Gopher, they find an Harpoon canon among the junk. Back at home, Hiroshi receives from Mayumi a gift from his mother Kikue, an Omamori (Amulet). Miwa explain Kikue's were made after a visit to Build Base – providing a flash back of the conversation between Kikue and Prof. Shiba, expressing her worries for Hiroshi with the new line of Monsters coming out, Shiba telling her if necessary, he would have to intervene directly – despite this, Hiroshi leaves the Amulet, expressing full trust in the Jeeg Upgrades. At Build Base, an Ion Engine is been installed, this would allow the Build Base Capsule to move Horizontally in battle when in flight.
Elsewhere, Flora is inform of the location of the Steel Mill for the Jeeg Parts and launches Gokira to attack on the Site to lure Jeeg out. Hiroshi and Miwa take off to confront the Monster (as the Mill posses, not only the Jeeg parts facilities, but a Nuclear Reactor). When they arrive to the site, the Beast is nowhere to be seeing and transforms with Jeeg Part components and searches in the Bay, stumbling upon the Orochi Fortress, Jeeg has struggle, but is tossed into a Pit. Gokira is launched once more and ordered to attack the Reactor. Miwa shoots at it with Shooter Missiles, to no effect – Jeeg asks her for the Sky Parts, but she interrupted by Orochi fortress. The Shooter is shutdown with Harpoon Missiles, but Miwa is able to fire the Sky Parts, before crashing into the Water.
However, before Jeeg could stop the Beast, he is captured by the Orochi, who then proceeds to drain Jeeg of its Energy, after his father tells him to be patient.
Quick Note 2: this point marks Flora's introduction to Jeeg directly.
De-powered, Jeeg is left at mercy of Gokira, who beats him relentlessly, and attempts to decapitate the Mecha. With his son in trouble, Prof. Shiba decides to enter into action and launches the Build Base Dome Capsule to join the fight. After waking Miwa with a Shock Ray, Shiba calls her back to the Capsule, but makes a Spin Attack with the Capsule to get rid of the nuisance of Orochi's attacks, causing it to crash into the Water; Big Shooter lands in the Capsule, while MechaDon 2 keep Gokira distracted from Jeeg with his new Harpoon (which works effectively as one might guess under these circumstances with a first try fail). As the tide of Battle has turned, Dragon (quite surprisingly) orders Flora to retreat, not willing to risk her any further, despite her protest; Flora retreats, but orders Gokira to finish the Reactor.
As the Shooter is recharged, Gorika disposes of the MechaDon, tossing it into the water, allowing Miwa to recharge the Mecha on time. After quick new Build, Jeeg gets back into action with a lot payback to give, by knocking it with Dynamite Punch and then using Spin Storm; Hiroshi then uses the Jeeg Bucklers on the Gokira, first decapitating it, then disposing of the monster completely.
Afterwards, Hiroshi decides to take the Amulet his mother bought to keep it at all time.
