very strange and intriguing! At first it reminded me of the immense, alienating spaces of Dali's early surrealist canvases (and I know he has at least one painting with the motif of the eye hovering in the sky, from his work for Spellbound), but the form and colours of the landscape and the large eye-towers (for lack of a better description) rather bring to mind that sense of dislocation I (at least) get from those 50s visions of what outer space might look like, Forbidden Planet and so on. And surrealism and science-fiction imagery are two of my passions as it happens

I don't know how I'd interpret it yet, admittedly I couldn't even tell you how I'd interpret my own sporadic surrealist doodles. I'd have to spend a long time staring at it and musing

Ah much thanks for the awesome comment and commentary. Indeed it does have a that Sci-Fi feel to it, perhaps something more. Please feel free to stare at it all day...but beware! It stares back. ;D

Seeing the big squid looking at the human there shows how unimpressive man truly is when faced with such large extremes.

Excellent. You can go as deep with this as you desire. I was quite pleased with the background too. I just love the colors. I hope that I can get that on canvas one of these days.
