I was up and down if I should have velvet split from my experience here and be scratch Luna (The rattata). However even back then I was pretty non combative, even when I did lock myself away, getting me out of the bathroom or whatever wasn't too much of a hassle cause I didn't want to be a problem.
The other bit with the Yap actually extends to today. Back then I was non vocal, and struggled a lot to talk from a combo of being scared from abuse, not having people to talk to for practice, and just not having much to say/feeling what I would add anything. So when it came time talk I'd lock up, and this still happens. Some of ya'll have had me enter a VC, and lock up/default to text anyway. or maybe leave your servers entirely, this is usually why. I've gotten better about explaining it at least, and working against it.
