Hooray! My first reference sheet that's not an interactive Flash animation!
This is Quina, my newest character and also my other fursona (along with Minnow). I've only uploaded one drawing of her to FA yet but.. >_> <_< Hey I like her. Sooo... Here's some additional information on Quina!
Stats:
Species: Generic cat hybrid (Siamese/American Curl/Lynx/other stuff) with robotic modifications
Age: Probably in early 20's
Height (anthro): 5'4"
Height (feral): 1'9" at shoulder
Weight (anthro): 130
Personality: Quina is very reserved and quiet, and she doesn't talk all that much. She tends to keep to herself and doesn't make friends easily, and thus finds herself almost to the point of clingy with those with whom she is already close. Although poised and graceful on the outside, and in spite of her intelligence and creativity, she has many insecurities that she tends not to talk about. Her robotic right eye makes it easy for her to analyze the actions and personalities of others.
Symbolism:
Stitches on right side of jaw: References both the extensive orthodontic work done on me (4 years braces, 7+ oral surgeries) and also my fear of saying the things i truly feel or think.
Piano motif on tummy: I've played piano since I was 5 years old so it's a huge part of my personality and how I think/express myself.
Stitches/cloth stuff: Sewing is a passion for me and I love being able to create things or fix things with this skill. Creating/fixing things, whether it's making art or helping fix aspects of someone's life, is something I have to do to feel fulfilled.
Scar on chest/Sapphire: As friendly as I can be, romance is a touchy subject and rarely happens with me, as a result of past bad experiences. The sapphire is from a ring given to me by my grandmother, a representation of platonic love, which I tend to prefer.
Robotics: I've been told I'm really good at psychoanalyzing people and I can often tell a lot about someone's personality without even knowing them that well. Also, technology is basically my life--without it a lot of my self-identity simply wouldn't exist.
Long fur on arms/chest As insulation, both from cold (which I hate) and the unpleasantness aspects of life
