To remember something other, to believe in another,
To have faith rather than surrender,
Strange. So many shadows. I should just let go, though...
I'd become the same as them, I would you know.
This last fork in the darkness of my life,
The road a shattered ruin lit by regret and lightning,
Every mistake my guide, drifting ever North and ever West.
Cold wind, colder thoughts, turned cloak in tatters and travelling with winter,
Say my name, I whisper harshly to myself before,
I stare into the swirling darkness of a hurricane's eye, a gun's bore,
And realize that though I've called myself by many such...
I don't have one anymore.
