Surprise post, since I finished the last 2 Jeeg Monsters last night - so I'm beginning to extra post these guys to expedite this off. I'll be taking a break from Monsters, then proceed with the Final UFO Robot Grendizer Monster.

Robot Beast Debido was the 40th monster of the Week in order of Appearance to be featured in Ep.35 of the Kotetsu Jeeg anime; at first appearing as a quadruped Monster, it had the ability to transform into a humanoid form. Its tail fired an Electric discharge & tail doubled as Combat staff and whip in the Alt-mode; as well, the Beast fired a Pink color sticky silk to wrap its enemies in from the mouth (though it is seen in the Beast form). The aspect of the head would change depending on the form: A Horse like in its Quadruped form, while in the Humanoid one its more avian like.

It was Red in color, with Dark Blue legs, claws in hands and feet, spikes on the back of each limb at the joint, with yellow pads at the limb joints, the Horn in the top of the head was longer and curve. The Humanoid Form share the same scheme, though feet would become smaller, the shoulder pads became red, black abdomen is added plus the pelvic area became a skirt giving the robot a old warrior look; horn shorten in this form, and sport a more avian like face.

Going with a strategy by General Flora, Hiroshi's family would be the subject of attacks, viewing his love for them, in her words, as a weakness – trying to protect them over the base, Hiroshi would then be left corner, while Debido proceeds to attack the Build Base; And thus, carrying out the first stage of her plan, Kikue (Hiroshis' Mom) and Mayumi are attacked separately by a biker gang, Hiroshi confronts the fiends only to discover these are Dragon's Robot Soldiers. Hiroshi disposes of the attackers and reports to Build Base of what has transpired. Prof. Shiba/Computer Father believes is the sign of an incoming attack, with Dairi proposing they should move into the Base, though Hiroshi rejects, promising to protect them, later explaining to Michi he promise to do so following his father's death.

Not long after, an Earthquake strikes, it emitting Magnetism Waves; Michi takes off on the Big shooter to investigate and finds the Robot Beast Debido attacking a plant; the Beast blocks the missile barrage of the Big Shooter and digs its way underground in direction to the base. When inform, Hiroshi expresses concern been away from his family but Kikue chooses to take them to Build Base for Protection, but just as they walk out the Robot Soldiers attack, wounding Kikue; Hiroshi fights the Soldiers as they escape, with the villains on their tail. He and the family run to a construction building, only to fall into a trap – now cornered, Flora can proceed with the attack of Build Base without Hiroshi interfering, per bringing risk to his family.

Dairi contacts Hiroshi as Debido attacks the Base from below, but he still hesitant to part ways from his family, but they tell him they will take care of them, and trusting at their word, he leaves to fight the Monster; Both shock, Dragon orders Flora to just kill the Shiba family at this point. Hiroshi transforms into Earth Mode Jeeg and digs its way through the ground, surprising Debido, and dragging him out of the Bases Sub-levels, taking the fight outside, while Michi saves the rest of the Shiba family from the Robot Soldiers on time.

As the fight continues, Debido covers Jeeg in a Pink sticky silk, Jeeg fends off with Drill Shoots, but the Beast Blocks them and covers the Mecha in full; Debido then headbutts Jeeg, only for the Mecha to fire at him with Jeeg Beam, tossing the monster, who misfired its Discharge attacks and frees Jeeg from the cocoon, but Debido, blinding with another discharge attack, rips his legs and then locks Jeeg in a mauling; Michi arrives at that moment and fires Missiles, blasting the bodies of both apart, though Jeeg's head flies away and reassembles into his normal form.

The Monster also reassembles, but this time in a more Humanoid form, with the tail as its Battle Staff, and the two take onto each other into their Second and Final Round; Jeeg kicks the Monster, but it recovers and uses its tail to lock onto Jeeg, releasing an electric discharge, though Jeeg drags the Monster, Debido lets go and holds Jeeg in a death lock, trying to crush it and headbutts (this boy knows no other moves it seems). After hearing the words of his Father and those of his family, Hiroshi shoves the Monster away, hits Debido with Jeeg Beam and Knuckle Bomber, and disposes of the Monster with Spin Storm. Witnessing another defeat from a distance, Flora promises revenge.

After the Battle, Hiroshi makes sure to promise to protect his family while Fighting on.
