Etienne and his Axe, commission by Rachez
The City is the End.
The City is the Apocalypse. An endless, planet-spanning city that grows, shifts, rebuilds. Creatures live within it, but few understand it.
The City is a place of horror. A place of mystery. A place ripe for adventure.
Etienne was born into a community within the city. He was born into revolution, his community overthrowing a dictatorial king who ruled from the Wrath Iron Keep. As he grew up, he served under his 'Uncle' as a jailer, guarding the Oubliette where those who served the former dictator were thrown, and later tending the "Flesh wall" where the faces of those who tumbled into the Oubliette appeared, stitched into the living tapestry of the wall itself.
Now he has left that duty, to seek out other souls who deserve the punishment of the Oubliette. And, along the way, he has made friends. An ogre from the mysterious Shadow Garden, and an elf whose thirst for knowledge has already gotten her into trouble.
Together, they will face the mysteries and the myriad horrors that the City has to offer.

Rachez, of my boarfolk character Etienne Volaire. I'm playing him in a fantasy horror, roguelike/hex crawl TTRPG game using the "Zweihander" system.
