Sorry about busting out a late explanation. You've probably either forgotten or figured it all out by now. But, here we go anyway.
In the series, all the characters have names that reflect both their species and the fact it's set in a fictional Europe where France is the dominant power and has annexed Britain.

And Wolfox... you magnificent bastard! Got a copy of the newest Grandville book recently and it only served to further my silly fan-crush on LeBrock. This was the only damn thing to show up when I searched for fan art to ease the pain.

I see. Given the, erm, not-so-distinguished French military record (with the exception of Napoleon), I can certainly see why this fantasy would come about. XD

I thought as much. I was only able to figure that out by going to Youtube and looking up Grandville. Of course, after doing that, I realized I could've just put "comic" after "Grandville" in Google and figured it out then. I guess that's what happens when you're tired and can't think straight, lol.
