Almost two years ago, before the (general) moratorium on global travel for pleasure, I had the opportunity to drop by what is in my opinion one of the most beautiful countries on earth - guessed it, New Zealand. You might have seen another commission done previously based off a photograph I took while there, and this is another. I was making a trip down the western side of South Island, coming up to Fjordland, and along the road saw a couple of signs that convinced me to make a detour. After a bit of hiking, I came across one of the most amazing beach scenes I have ever seen in my life, and not a person in sight. The memory of that has always stuck with me these past two years, and - I suspect - forever will.
Last trip before the global lockdown or not, my trip to New Zealand was genuinely one of the best experiences of my life, and truth be told, all motivation and desire that I posses now is solely to return to that wondrous place again, someday.
