The colors aren't bad at all, actually. :)

My biggest qualm with the pic is his forehead-> it appears unusally elognated. It kind of seems like you went for two different angels for the head and the snout.

I think it reallyy rocks because the color is probably the hardest to do and getting the light source is a real BITCH but if you know what you're doing it kicks major ass at the end. trust me, i know exactlly how you feel.
